Andreas Kiessling

Andreas Kiessling is a professional with extensive experience in biochemistry and protein production. Currently serving as a Projektmanager at Cube Biotech since March 2024, Andreas focuses on transforming customer protein production requests into tailored project solutions, leveraging expertise in membrane proteins. Prior experience includes working as an Application Scientist at LenioBio GmbH from August 2022 to May 2024, where Andreas enhanced customer experience by developing applications for the ALiCE® cell-free protein expression platform. Previous roles include a PhD Student at the University of Leeds from February 2018 to August 2022, conducting structural and functional studies on the bacterial adhesin BpaC using X-Ray crystallography, and serving as a Visiting Research Assistant focused on Cryo-EM techniques. Andreas holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen.
