Chalitha Perera

Chalitha Perera is a senior machine learning engineer with over nine years of experience specializing in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Currently at CUBE, Chalitha develops NLP services that convert complex regulatory documents into actionable intelligence, leading initiatives such as migrating systems to Kubernetes and adopting MLOps practices. Previously, Chalitha held roles at RozieAI, where they contributed significantly to the development of a Natural Language Understanding engine, and Zaizi, where they worked on an enterprise search engine and collaborated on academic research projects. Chalitha earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and is committed to AI-driven innovation and continuous growth in their field.
