Mike Ebrahimi

Mike Ebrahimi, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of data science and research. Mike is currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at CUBE since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at TAL Australia from January 2019 to July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Nine Entertainment Co. from November 2018 to January 2019.

Mike also has academic experience, having worked as a Data Scientist / Researcher at UNSW from March 2015 to December 2018, where they focused on leveraging machine learning and natural language processing techniques for social media analysis. Additionally, they worked as a member of the Data Mining & Machine Learning team at Freelancer from January 2010 to February 2015, where they focused on sentiment analysis on social media and developed NLP and machine learning algorithms.

In terms of teaching experience, Mike has worked as a Teaching Assistant and Tutor at Sharif University of Technology, a Lecturer & Faculty Member at Azad University, Zand University, Fazel & Danesh Novin Institutes of Higher Education, and a Teaching Assistant at Shahid Beheshti University and Shiraz University. Mike also served as an Academic Advisor / Editor at Parseh.

Mike Ebrahimi, PhD, received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science and Engineering from UNSW in 2018. Prior to that, they were a PhD student in Computer Software Engineering at Sharif University of Technology from 2014 to 2015. Mike also holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Microsoft DP-100T01 - Designing and Implementing a Data Science Solution on Azure from DDLS in 2020.
