Alvin Rasing

Alvin Rasing has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alvin is currently employed as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Cubic Corporation, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Pr Systems Engineer at Cubic Corporation from March 2016 to February 2022.

Before joining Cubic Corporation, Alvin worked at Rockwell Collins as a Sr Systems Engineer for eight years. In this role, they were responsible for developing concept of operations, system and software requirements, and test procedures for communications with datalink-enabled aircraft. Alvin also conducted contractor testing and reported Earned Value as Cost Account Manager.

Alvin's career began at SPAWAR, where they worked as a Data Analyst, supporting system-on-chip development. Alvin gathered capacitance/voltage measurements and extracted device parameter information. Alvin also wrote VHDL code for SOC-based temperature-controlled sensor.

Alvin also has experience as an Electrical Engineering Teacher at the Elementary Institute of Science, where they taught engineering fundamentals to elementary and junior high school students. Alvin created hands-on experiments and gathered student creations for end-of-year presentations.

Alvin'searly experience includes working as a Design Engineer I at STMicroelectronics. Here, they contributed to the design of microprocessors based on x86 architecture and developed custom scan cells for JTAG implementation.

Alvin Rasing attended UC San Diego from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Circuits and Systems. From 2003 to 2008, they attended San Diego State University, however, there is no mention of a degree or field of study. In addition, Alvin has also obtained a certification in Systems Engineering from the University of California, San Diego Extension.
