John Boyd

John Boyd is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in science and engineering. Currently serving as Chief Scientist at Cubic since 1994, John previously held positions as Staff Representative at The Navigators from 1980 to 1988, Mathematician at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from 1974 to 1980, and Officer in the US Navy from 1970 to 1974. John holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego (1991-1996), a Master of Arts (MA) in Mathematics from UC Santa Barbara (1968-1969), and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Mathematics from California State University-Humboldt (1964-1968). Early education includes attendance at Eureka (CA) Senior High and Willmar (MN) Senior High.
