LC Gilbert has extensive experience in security and technology, currently serving in a security role at Cubic since February 2013 and as an adjunct instructor at ITT Technical Institute since September 2012. Previously, LC Gilbert held the position of Senior Systems Security Analyst at Walgreens from February 2009 to September 2012, where responsibilities included the architecture and implementation of Secure ID software and various security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and security assessments. LC Gilbert also worked at Walgreens as a Sr. LAN Administrator from March 1996 to March 2008, enhancing and maintaining local area networks and providing user support. Prior roles include Electrical/Electronic Engineer at Tri-Phase Electric and Mechanical Engineer at Time Warner Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Management, both from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University and DeVry University, respectively, along with an Associate's degree in Electronic Technology.
