Gavin Fitzpatrick

Gavin Fitzpatrick is an experienced information security leader with a comprehensive background in cybersecurity and technology strategy. Currently serving as the Head of Information Security at Cubic³, Gavin oversees enterprise technology and cyber defense, ensuring risk management and business resilience. Previous roles include Business Information Security Officer at Kraken Digital Asset Exchange, where compliance and operational resilience were prioritized, and Chief Information Officer at Coinbase, focusing on security governance and regulatory compliance. With a strong foundation in cloud architecture from Amazon Web Services, Gavin has developed security training programs and best practices, while contributing to global cybersecurity benchmarks with the Center for Internet Security. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Security & Forensics Computing from Dublin City University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing: Applications & Support from Dundalk Institute of Technology.
