Andreas Olmes

Andreas Olmes is an accomplished investment professional currently serving as Lead Investor at alteva and cloudplan GmbH, while also holding the position of Principal and Prokurist at High-Tech Gründerfonds since January 2008. At HTGF, Andreas manages a portfolio of four companies, has successfully seed-financed 11 deals and completed over 85 transactions, including significant series financing rounds and 11 exits, with one IPO of Mister Spex in July 2021. Additionally, Andreas serves as a Board Observer for Cuculus GmbH and was a Lead Investor for multiple companies, including Extoll and PicoLAS GmbH. With a strong academic background in Physics, holding a Dr. rer. nat. from Leibniz Universität Hannover and a Diploma from The University of Bonn, Andreas has demonstrated expertise in laser medicine in ophthalmology and has played a pivotal role in reorganizing HTGF alongside McKinsey.
