Vaidas K.

Vaidas K. has a diverse work experience in the field of software quality and automation. Vaidas is currently serving as the VP of Core R&D at CUJO AI since August 2022. Prior to this role, they were the VP of Quality at the same company from March 2022 to August 2022. Vaidas also worked as the Head of Quality Engineering from October 2020 to March 2022, and as a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer from July 2020 to October 2020.

Before joining CUJO AI, Vaidas held the position of Test Automation Architect at Luminor Lietuva from November 2018 to July 2020. Vaidas played a key role in building and improving the global test automation infrastructure and tooling, and also developed the company's tailored test automation strategy.

Prior to that, Vaidas worked as a QA Lead at BetGamesTV from October 2017 to November 2018, where they led cross-team QA competence group focusing on test automation and continuous integration.

Vaidas also worked at TIA Technology as a Test Automation Architect from January 2017 to September 2017. Vaidas implemented a maven-centric and pure Java test automation framework using Selenium WebDriver and initiated a test automation guild within the company.

At SEB, Vaidas held multiple roles including Test Automation Specialist, Test Services Coordinator, and Team Manager from 2011 to 2016. During their tenure, they contributed to developing extensive automation infrastructures and coordinated centralized test services within the company.

Vaidas began their career at Tieto as a Software Developer from March 2010 to February 2011. Vaidas analyzed business processes and requirements, built the front-end of web applications, and performed performance testing and optimization.

Vaidas also worked as a Test Engineer and Software Developer at Tieto from October 2008 to March 2010. In these roles, they created and maintained automated Selenium tests, implemented a Java-based framework for integrating automation tests, and developed web applications.

Before their corporate experience, Vaidas established their own small private enterprise called Altera Solutions, where they provided web-centric IT services and handled various responsibilities like web development, project supervision, search engine optimization, and strategic consulting.

Vaidas started their career as a Webpage Group Programmer at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from July 2007 to February 2008.

Vaidas K. obtained a Master's degree in Engineering informatics from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from 2007 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in September 2023, Leadership Training Program from Global Integration in 2021, Management in Practice Programme from SEB in 2015, HP0-M47: HP Functional Testing 11.x Software from Pearson VUE in 2013, ISTQB - ISEB Certified Tester from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2012, and Sun Certified Java Programmer for the Java 2 Platform, SE 6.0 from Sun Microsystems in 2010.
