Christine Couvelier is passionate about food. Whether she is eating, cooking, talking, teaching or writing about food, her love of everything culinary has made her a leading industry expert with a unique talent for predicting global food trends.

With over 30 years experience, the world-class chef and founder of Culinary Concierge assists food industry clients in creating award-winning food products, services and strategies that help build their brands and keep them ahead of market trends.

As the past executive chef for President’s Choice and former executive chef and culinary/beverage director at Cara Operations, Christine’s knowledge and extensive experience has long been sought after in the food industry. In addition to heading up global innovation strategies at Unilever Canada, she is a past chair of Canada’s largest culinary school, The Chef School, George Brown College, and was the first director of culinary strategy at Maple Leaf Foods, where she helped develop the vision, design and construction of the company’s ThinkFOOD! Centre.

Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, Christine travels the world over to taste, cook and sample the industry’s latest, “gold-standard” offerings.
