Frank Yan

Dr. Yan is a Partner at 3E Bioventures Capital, who has 18 years of pharmaceutical research and development, management, and operations experience in both the U.S. and China, having held positions with increasing responsibilities at Novartis, Roche, and GlaxoSmithKline. He has broad experience in various disease areas such as oncology, infectious diseases, neurodegenerative diseases, pain, ophthalmology, and metabolic diseases, as well as deep experience in external innovation and business development. Dr. Yan has close to 50 publications and patents including those in Nature and Science. He received his B.Sc. in Physics from Fudan University and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from New York University.
