Cultivate the Creative (CTC) is a St. Petersburg-based grassroots nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through creativity, self-expression, and emotional wellness.

We believe creativity is more than an activity—it is a tool for building confidence, identity, and resilience. Through our programs, youth are given the space, guidance, and support to explore who they are, express themselves authentically, and develop skills that extend far beyond the creative process.

Our programming is rooted in a holistic approach to youth development, integrating expressive arts with mental and emotional wellness. Each experience is intentionally designed to meet youth where they are, while helping them grow into who they are becoming.

Our core programs include:

✨ Elevate Creativity – A structured, 9-week program focused on identity development, emotional awareness, and creative expression. Youth leave with a portfolio of work, professional headshots, an artist statement, and practical life skills that support long-term personal growth.

🎨 Engage Creativity – A flexible, expressive arts and wellness program that combines creative activities with mindfulness and movement, creating a safe space for youth to decompress, connect, and create.

What makes CTC unique is our commitment to being community-driven. Our curriculum is designed in collaboration with local artists, wellness practitioners, and subject matter experts—ensuring our programs are relevant, accessible, and reflective of the community we serve.

We partner with schools, nonprofits, foster homes, and community organizations to deliver meaningful, engaging programming that supports youth in building confidence, developing their voice, and envisioning their future.
