Dulcie Hause has extensive work experience in the field of education and museums. Dulcie started their career in 2002 at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens as a Museum Educator. Dulcie worked in this role until 2008. In 2008, they joined Duval County Public Schools as a First Grade teacher, where they worked until 2013. Dulcie then returned to The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, where they have held several positions including Interim Manager of Education from May 2018 to September 2018, Museum Educator from October 2013 to January 2020, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Learning & Engagement starting from February 2020.
Dulcie Hause has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art History from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained between 1998 and 2001. In 2008 to 2009, they attended the University of North Florida, where they completed the Educator Preparatory Institute program in Education. Dulcie Hause also obtained a Professional Teaching Certificate, Grades K-6 from the Florida Department of Education in July 2011.

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is the largest fine arts museum in Northeast Florida. The Cummer was established in 1958, when art collector, garden enthusiast, and civic leader Ninah Cummer bequeathed her art collection and riverfront home, which she owned with her husband Arthur, to create a museum. Today, the core collection of 60 pieces from Mrs. Cummer's estate has grown to include 5,000 works of art. The 1.5 acres of historic gardens, set against the backdrop of the St. Johns River, serves as a centerpiece of beauty for all to enjoy. In addition, Art Connections, the Museum's nationally recognized interactive education center, enhances the cultural learning of more than 40,000 students annually.
