Holly Keris has a diverse work experience in the art and museum industry. Holly is currently serving as the J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver Chief Curator at The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens since January 2020. Prior to this, they held the role of Acting Director at the same museum, starting in 2003 and ending in January 2019.
Holly also has experience working at the Museum of Arts and Sciences as the Curator of Collections/Registrar from an undisclosed date in 1999 until 2003.
In addition to their museum roles, they participated in the Senior Management Institute at National Arts Strategies in 2016 and was a part of the Leadership Jacksonville, Inc. Class of 2014.
Holly Keris obtained their Bachelor's degree in History from Stetson University, which they completed between the years 1993 and 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from the University of Virginia, which they completed from 1997 to 1999. Currently, Holly is enrolled at the Harvard Extension School, where they are expected to complete a Master's degree in Management by 2023.
