Mark Simpson

Mark Simpson, CPBE, DRB, AMD, CBNE, MCP, serves as Chief Engineer at CUMULUS MEDIA since July 2020. Prior to this role, Mark held positions at iHeartMedia Phoenix as Region Engineer and at Townsquare Media as Senior Vice President of Engineering, overseeing capital expenditure planning, staff management, and talent recruitment. Mark has been active in professional organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Society of Broadcast Engineers and as Chairman of SBE Chapter 32. Mark's extensive engineering background includes significant contributions to facility buildouts, HD radio conversions, and comprehensive rebuilds of broadcast stations. Educational achievements include diplomas in Electronics Technology and General studies from Bucks County Technical School and Neshaminy High School, respectively.
