Darren Murphy

Darren Murphy has worked in the construction industry since 2009. Darren began their career as a Laborer at CastleRath Construction before moving to Project BIM Lead at Carlow Precast in 2013. Darren then became a BIM Coordinator at BIM Integrated in 2014 and Practice BIM Lead at Farrells in 2015. From 2018 to 2022, they served as a BIM Project Manager and AECO/BIM Solutions Specialist at Microdesk before becoming a Senior BIM Project Manager at Cupix in 2022.

Darren Murphy obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc (Hons) in Architectural Technology from Waterford Institute of Technology. Darren also holds certifications from BRE Academy, including BIM Essentials and BIM Information Management, both obtained in 2017. In 2016, they received an Associate of CIAT from CIAT and in 2013 they became a Revit Architecture 2013 Certified Professional from Autodesk.
