Welcome to CURASCOPIUM, a pioneering non-profit organization founded at UC Berkeley, dedicated to making the wonders of space and astronomy accessible to visually impaired individuals.

Driven by a passion for inclusivity and the belief that everyone should have the opportunity to explore the universe, we specialize in conducting engaging lectures and workshops tailored to special needs schools in Japan and the United States. Through these initiatives, we strive to break down barriers and foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cosmos among individuals of all abilities.

Our vision extends beyond traditional educational methods. We are embarking on an ambitious project to develop a new generation of planetariums, designed to provide immersive experiences that transcend visual limitations. These innovative spaces will allow both sighted and visually impaired visitors to truly "feel" the universe, utilizing cutting-edge technology and multi-sensory techniques.

We are committed to pushing the boundaries of accessibility in science education, paving the way for a more inclusive and diverse exploration of the cosmos. Join us in our mission to inspire curiosity, spark imagination, and share the marvels of space with all.
