Jazel Smith

Jazel Smith currently serves as a Site Specialist at Curative since 2020, while also holding the position of Chief Executive Officer at the American Civic Education Foundation since June 2021 and an Executive Board Member at Democracy Builders since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Amazon as an IXD Process Assistant, and extensive work with Democracy Prep Public Schools, where Jazel served as a Recruitment Associate and Summer Academy Algebra 1 Teacher, among other teaching and support roles. Jazel's earlier experience includes an internship in the Office of the Superintendent and a Junior Camp Counselor position at the Children's Aid Society. Jazel holds a degree from the University of Maryland.
