Eric Schlissel possesses extensive experience in entrepreneurship and leadership across various industries, particularly in technology and cannabis. Currently serving as CxO at Base8.io since 2016, Eric has contributed to the development and launch of multiple ventures, including Cure8 and Forte Operations, where Eric is CEO and Co-Founder. Forte has established itself as a prominent retail strategy service within the cannabis sector. As the CEO and Founder of Cure8, Eric focuses on simplifying cannabis technology and security challenges. Eric also leads XO, an IT Services firm positioned as a modern alternative to traditional managed service providers. Previous roles include founding Social Platform LLC, running GeekTek and its hosting branch, and leading projects such as TalentPages and StreetTeams. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Stony Brook University.
