Jacopo Annese, PhD

Jacopo Annese is currently an advisor at CureScience. Jacopo was previously an assistant professor of radiology at UCSD from April 2005 to February 2015, and before that, they were the chief neuroanatomist at UCLA Medical Center from May 2000 to December 2005. Dr. Annese's research has focused on the combination of neuroanatomical and neuroimaging methods to extract morphological, connectivity, and pathological information from the human brain. Jacopo's laboratory has developed a pipeline to create and publish cellular-level maps of the human brain including terapixel microscopic montages that are accessible via the web.

Jacopo Annese, PhD has a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Dartmouth College, an MS in Neurology from UCL, and a BS and MS in Biological Sciences and Zoology from Sapienza Università di Roma.
