Lawrence D. Jones, Ph.D.

Dr. Jones has nearly thirty years of successful, progressive technology and general management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and chemical fields. Dr. Jones began his career as a bench chemist, but rapidly evolved his focus into business development activities. Over the course of his career, he has generated hundreds of contracts between his employers and many well-known pharmaceutical companies. In addition, he has prepared thousands of professional proposals to various clients worldwide in support of drug discovery, analytical development, chemical development and bulk active ingredient requirements. Dr. Jones also co-founded, built and divested a generic inhalation anesthetic company. Additionally, he was responsible for the preparation of multiple Requests for Proposal to NIH, such requests concluded in the award of several million dollars over the course of five years.

Dr. Jones received his B.A. degree in chemistry from Cornell University, spent a year as a graduate research assistant at Stanford University and went on to complete his Ph.D. in synthetic organic chemistry in record time at Duke University.
