Adam Dubrowski

Adam Dubrowski has a diverse work experience in various institutions and roles. In 2002, they started as an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, where they worked until 2013. Adam then moved to the Memorial University of Newfoundland and served as a Professor from 2013 onwards. During their time at Memorial, they also worked as the Academic Director of the Clinical Learning and Simulation Centre from 2014 to 2018. In 2015, they became the Lead Editor of the Cureus Journal of Medical Science. In 2017, they took on the role of Principal Investigator for the MUN Med 3D initiative, which aimed to implement 3D printing technology in medical education and telemedicine. In 2018, they became the Principal Investigator for the MED 3D Network, a collective of design, 3D printing, and simulation labs in Newfoundland and Labrador. In 2019, they joined Ontario Tech University as a Professor and Canada Research Chair in HealthCare Simulation. Adam also co-founded MaxSIMHealth at Ontario Tech U in the same year. Lastly, in 2021, they became a Scientist Mentor at the Creative Destruction Lab.

Adam Dubrowski obtained their Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD degrees in Kinesiology with a focus on Motor Learning from the University of Waterloo. Adam earned their degrees between 1992 and 2000. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications. In February 2009, they received a Knowledge Translation Professional Certificate (KTPC) from The Hospital for Sick Children. In January 2013, they obtained a Metaleadership in Simulation certificate from Cambridge Meta-Leadership, facilitated by Sim-One. Lastly, in April 2023, they obtained a Planning for Implementation Practice (PIP) certificate from The Hospital for Sick Children.
