Christian Ellinger

Christian Ellinger has held various positions in the biopharmaceutical industry. Christian is currently the Director of Business Development & Licensing at CureVac, where they contribute to the company's strategic plan and leads interactions with potential biopharma partners. Previously, Ellinger worked at Medigene AG, where they held roles such as Head of Business Development & Strategy and Vice President. Christian also served as Department Head and Lab Head, managing R&D departments and collaborations. Prior to that, Ellinger worked as a PostDoc at HelmholtzZentrum München and as a Visiting Scientist at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and the Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center.

Christian Ellinger has a strong educational background in the field of biology and immunology. Christian obtained their Diplom degree in Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München in 2009. Later, they pursued a higher degree and completed their Dr. rer. nat. in Immunology from the same university in 2013. In addition to their academic qualifications, Christian has also obtained certifications in various areas, such as Pharma-Biotech Product & Company Valuation and SCRUM Master.
