Frederic Chevessier

Frederic Chevessier serves as the Director of Molecular Therapies for Rare Diseases at CureVac, a position held since March 2016, where the focus lies on advancing innovative solutions for patient needs in various molecular therapy contexts. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of Molecular Therapy and Scientist in Enabling Technologies at Neuropathology, where expertise in protein aggregation disease-related disorders was developed. Frederic has also gained valuable insights through trainee positions in drug safety management and clinical trial management, alongside a postdoctoral role at the Max Planck Institute, concentrating on neuromuscular disorders. Academic qualifications include a PhD from Pierre and Marie Curie University, focusing on congenital myasthenic syndromes.
