Ben Remke

Ben Remke is the current Chief Financial Officer at Curi, a position they have held since January of 2020. Prior to their current role, Remke served as the Vice President of Finance at Curi from January 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they were responsible for investment portfolio operations, accounting and reporting oversight, and finance strategy across all enterprise entities.

Before joining Curi, Remke was the Director of Finance at Pitt Electric ORI, LLC from May 2014 to January 2018. In this role, they planned, analyzed, and evaluated the performance of debt, equity, real estate, VC, and alternative investment portfolios. Ben also researched and advised on the deployment of capital to achieve cash flow and risk adjusted return objectives.

In addition to their work in the private sector, Remke has also been involved with the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) Carolinas Chapter. Ben served as the chapter president from August 2018 to August 2019 and as the chapter vice president of programs from April 2014 to July 2018.

Ben Remke has a BS in Accounting from North Carolina State University.
