Lauren Avery

Lauren Avery is a seasoned professional in events management and hospitality, currently serving as the Manager of Events & Sponsorships at Curi since March 2023. With nearly a decade of experience at The Umstead Hotel and Spa, Lauren progressed from Herons & Rooms Service Manager to Senior Conference Services Manager, enhancing event and conference services. Prior experience includes a managerial role at Outback Steakhouse and a food and beverage internship with ARAMARK. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Food and Beverage and a minor in Business from East Carolina University, earned between 2009 and 2014.
