Scott Steelman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Beginning in 1992, they worked at National Scale Technology as a Production Manager for 12 years. In 2004, they started their own business, All Season Lawn Care Management, where they served as the Owner until 2005. From 2005 to 2013, they worked as a Quality Engineer at FMIHansa Medical Products, later taking on the role of Director of Operations from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Orchid Orthopedic Solutions as a Senior Quality Engineer, and then progressed to roles such as Quality Control Manager and Quality Manager until 2015. Following this, from 2015 to 2019, they worked at Strategix Medical Solutions as a Quality Manager. Currently, since 2019, they serve as a Quality Director at Curiteva, Inc.
Scott Steelman attended Calhoun College from 1993 to 1995. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Prior to that, from 1985 to 1989, they attended the Hunstville Center for Technology, where they obtained a degree in Advanced Welding Principles and specialized in Advanced Welding. In addition to their education, Steelman has also obtained several certifications. Scott became an ASQ Certified Quality Inspector in 2012 through ASQ. Scott also completed a course in ISO 9001:2008 Certified Lead Auditor, with a focus on Medical Device ISO 13485:2003, offered by BSI and RABQSA. Furthermore, they received training in Update to ASME Y14.5 - 2009 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from WM Education Services, where they became an ASME Certified GD&T Senior Level Professional.
