Jon Couchman

Jon Couchman has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Jon started their career as a Research Fellow at Atlas Experiment, CERN, Geneva in 2000. After that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Application Networks from 2003 to 2006. Then, they joined Thomson Reuters as a Technical Team Lead from 2006 to 2008, and later became a Team Lead from 2008 to 2012.

In 2012, Jon joined Turaz as a Risk Architect for TopOffice for a brief period. Jon then joined Misys in the same year and worked as a Principal Architect, FusionRisk from 2012 to 2018.

Currently, Jon is working at Currencycloud as a Platform Engineering Team Lead since October 2018. Jon recently transitioned to the role of Principal Engineer in September 2022.

Jon Couchman completed their Ph.D. in High Energy Particle Physics at UCL from 1997 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued an M.Sci. in Physics and Space Science at UCL from 1993 to 1997.
