Cherian Jacob is currently the Commodity Director at Current Lighting, specializing in indirect components and materials sourcing. With a robust background in global sourcing and a focus on electronic components, Cherian has held various leadership roles at GE Current and GE Lighting, where they led strategic supplier negotiations and component cost-out programs. Cherian's experience includes over 10 years as a white LED specialist and significant roles in quality leadership, holding a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. They began their career as a Research Engineer at the Polymer Processing Institute and have since developed a strong proficiency in operations and process engineering across multiple high-tech firms.
