Erik Bowers

Erik Bowers is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in product development and mechanical design across various industries. Currently serving as a Product Engineer at Current Lighting since October 2024, Erik previously held the position of Product Engineering Manager at Mide Technology Corporation, where responsibilities included mechanical design and integration of digital/analog electronics. Prior roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at KION North America, and Mechanical Engineer at STAR EV CORPORATION. Erik's background encompasses significant work at Proterra Inc., focusing on battery pack enclosures and cooling systems, as well as experience in drafting from positions held at Barrette Outdoor Living, SAIC, and Precision Ladders, LLC. Education includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Technology from East Tennessee State University and an Associate's degree in Drafting & Design from Walters State Community College.
