Andy Eiden

Andy Eiden currently serves as Sr. Manager for DSP and DER Integration at Current Energy Group, focusing on assisting diverse clients in effective grid modernization. Previously, Eiden held several positions at Portland General Electric, culminating as Sr. Principal Planning & Strategy Analyst, where responsibilities included leading DER planning innovations and developing a forecasting tool. Eiden has also contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty instructor at both Portland State University and Oregon State University, teaching courses related to smart grid and sustainability. Prior experience includes roles at Energy Trust of Oregon, The Housing Development Center, The Cadmus Group, and the Sustainability Leadership Center at PSU. Eiden holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Environmental Studies from Portland State University.
