Mike Janssen is an accomplished digital editor with extensive experience in journalism and media production. Currently serving as the Digital Editor for News for Public Media since March 2014, Mike manages online operations for a leading trade publication. A freelance writer since 1997, Mike has researched, edited, and produced audio stories and documentaries, as well as contributed to blogs about media and culture. Previous roles include fellow at the National Black Programming Consortium, project manager at the Future of Music Coalition, and reporter at WFDD Public Radio. With a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Wake Forest University, Mike has also developed and taught writing and media workshops for various nonprofits.
