Chris Smith

Chris Smith is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law. Currently serving as Head of Corporate and Commercial Law and Senior Legal Counsel at Currys plc since October 2021, Chris has previously held senior legal roles at Dixons Carphone from September 2017 to October 2021 and worked as a solicitor at Goodman Derrick LLP from September 2011 to September 2017, where the focus included corporate governance, M&A, and various legal areas such as property, employment, and private client services. Chris began the legal career as a Legal Assistant at Reynolds Colman Bradley LLP and also worked as a Community Cricket Coach with the North Otago Cricket Association in New Zealand, highlighting a diverse skill set.
