Johan Boot is an experienced applications engineering manager and co-founder with a strong background in control systems technology and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Applications Engineering Manager at Curtis Instruments since February 2016, Johan leads a team focused on enabling electric vehicle customers in various industries. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Applications Engineer at Curtis Instruments, Co-Founder of Brake Free Technologies, and positions at Moog and Berkeley Process Control, where expertise in project management and customer support was developed. Johan holds a Master of Science in Control Systems Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
