Peter Fortin

Peter Fortin is an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and engineering across various industries. Currently serving as an Engineer at AIS since November 2017 and as a Design Engineer at Curtis Industries, LLC since November 2015, Peter specializes in the mechanical design of enclosures and accessories, utilizing Solidworks and Autodesk Vault for file management. Previous roles include design responsibilities for industrial fans at Euramco Safety, product design and reverse engineering at Liberty Photo Products, and component sourcing for the RV industry at Best RV. Peter has also worked as a Process Engineer at ITW Plastiglide, focusing on plastic extrusion processes, and as a Quality Assurance Manager at Insultab, overseeing ISO 9000 compliance. Peter holds a degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, obtained in 1996.
