Carl Gaufin

Carl Gaufin, P.E., has a rich background in engineering with experience spanning various roles in both academic and industrial settings. They served as a Research Assistant at the University of Idaho, working on sodium treatment tests for nuclear reactor cleanup, and have held several engineering positions at companies such as Webb Wheel Products and Aerojet Rocketdyne. Currently, they are a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sterling Engineering & Consulting, focusing on innovative solutions for the Idaho Cleanup Project, and they are also a Systems & Controls Engineering Manager at Curtiss-Wright Corporation. Carl holds a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Idaho and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University-Fresno.
