Cathryn Spangler

Cathryn Spangler is an accomplished Program Manager II at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, overseeing multiple programs for both Navy and international customers since August 2022. In parallel, Cathryn has operated Cozy Cat's Creates since May 2019, specializing in knit and crochet pattern writing, design, and technical editing. Previous experience includes serving as Deputy Program Manager at Naval Air Systems Command where the focus was on life cycle management and support equipment acquisition, and various engineering roles including Design Engineer and Systems Engineer, contributing to significant hardware development projects. Cathryn has also coached volleyball and gained hands-on engineering experience through multiple co-op positions at esteemed organizations such as Textron Systems and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Educational background includes both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University.
