Cedric Tam

Cedric Tam is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in aircraft and military vehicle systems. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Curtiss-Wright Corporation since May 2016, Cedric oversees the development of Aircraft and Helicopter Handling Systems and Towed Array Handling Systems. Prior to this role, Cedric held positions as Senior Manager and Manager of Engineering at a Stealth Startup, managing all engineering activities related to Integrated Delivery System platforms. Cedric's career includes significant experience at Bombardier Aerospace as Section Chief for Project Engineering on the Global 7000 and 8000 Business Aircraft, and at L-3 Communications as Project Engineer and Mechanical Team Lead for Electronically Controlled Active Suspension Systems. Early career experience includes mechanical engineering roles at Curtiss-Wright Controls Marine Defense/Indal Technologies and General Electric. Cedric holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University and has completed additional training from prestigious institutions such as MIT and the University of Toronto.
