James Kurasch

James Kurasch is an experienced engineering manager at Curtiss-Wright Corporation, where roles have included Engineering Manager, Digital Transformation Manager, and Mechanical Design Engineer since December 2005. As Engineering Manager, James leads a team of Mechanical Design Engineers and oversees technical operations for EMD's Generator product lines, enhancing understanding of customer needs and project execution. The Digital Transformation Manager position involved Engineering IT and the initiative "Paperless in 5 Years." Previously, James served as the lead design engineer for stator assemblies on defense and DOE product lines. Academically, James holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
