Michael Tunney has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Michael is the CEO and Founder of Curv Group since 2013, where they have successfully built and scaled multiple brands, focusing on ecommerce, Amazon, and retail distribution. In 2022, they also founded Microship, a company specializing in small product shipping for Shopify brands. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, they worked as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Borg Warner Automotive from 2012 to 2013, where they developed automated machinery and integrated robotics for transmissions and related assemblies. Before that, they served as an Automation Engineer at Principal Manufacturing Corporation from 2008 to 2012.
Michael Tunney received a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 2008. Michael then pursued an Associates degree in Electrical Engineering from Harper College between 2009 and 2011. In the same period, they also obtained a CE Certificate in Automation and Controls from Oakton College. In 2011, Michael earned another CE Certificate in Mechatronics from Harper College. Additionally, they completed a CE Certificate in Industrial/Commercial Electrical Maintenance from Oakton College in 2010-2011.
