Sameer Nikhar

Sameer Nikhar, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist in Medicinal Chemistry at Curza, bringing over five years of extensive research and teaching experience in the field. They have a Ph.D. from the University of Houston, where they designed and synthesized kinase inhibitors, resulting in two patents and manuscripts. Prior to their current role, Sameer held various positions, including Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt University and Scientist positions at PTC Therapeutics and HAGER BIOSCIENCES. They have also contributed to academia as a lecturer and graduate teaching assistant, fostering the next generation of pharmacology students.
