John Benson

John Benson is an experienced Director of Security and Life Safety with a strong background in the higher education industry. They have held various security management roles, including positions at GMSC/Vornado Realty Trust, SJP Properties, and Cornell Tech, and currently manage security operations for the United Nations Development Corporation at Cushman & Wakefield. John is skilled in crisis management, intelligence analysis, and emergency management, with a military background and a Bachelor's of Science in Security Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Prior to their corporate roles, they served as a Detective and Sergeant with the NYPD for over two decades.
