Michael Hornback

Director of Culinary

Michael Hornback has over 40 years of culinary and foodservice experience, specializing in helping food companies generate profit through sustainable flavor. They served as the Corporate Chef Owner/President at R.L. Schreiber, Inc. from 1992 to 2012 and co-founded Catering Works, where they worked as Executive Chef from 1989 to 1992. Currently, they are the Corporate Executive Chef and Director of Culinary at Custom Culinary, with an expected tenure extending to 2025. Michael is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management at Florida International University and holds an Associate's degree in Culinary Arts and a Master’s degree in Food Business from The Culinary Institute of America.
