Alex Buben

Alex Buben is a Senior Consultant at CVP and an epidemiologist focused on improving behavioral health outcomes through enhanced surveillance, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use and psychiatric disorders. With nine years of experience leading and supporting evaluation services for federal health agencies and state health departments, Alex has a strong interest in quantitative methods, including longitudinal and latent variable modeling. Alex previously served as a Principal Epidemiologist at Biobot Analytics and worked as a Research Public Health Analyst at RTI International. Alex earned an ScM in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.
