Joaquin Urdinez

Associate Director Quality Control at CUTISS

Joaquin Urdinez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Joaquin began their career as a GMP Downstream Analyst at Mabxience in 2012, where they worked until June 2013. In 2014, they joined Symbiotic Health, Inc. as an Associate Scientist, where they worked until August 2015. Following this, they joined the University of Zurich as a PhD Fellow in Oncology from August 2015 to July 2019.

In 2019, Joaquin joined CUTISS AG as a Sr. Researcher for Cell Therapies, a role they held until September 2020. Joaquin then took on the position of Quality Control Manager at CUTISS AG from September 2020 to March 2022. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director of Quality Control at CUTISS AG, a position they have held since April 2022.

Joaquin Urdinez began their education by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Joaquin then pursued further studies and obtained a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from St. John's University, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. After completing their Master's Degree, Joaquin proceeded to the University of Zurich to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cancer Biology, which they successfully completed between 2015 and 2019.

In addition to their academic degrees, Joaquin Urdinez has acquired several additional certifications. In March 2013, they obtained the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) certification from the GRE General Test. Later, in March 2017, they completed the "Design and Interpretation of Clinical Trials" certification offered by John Hopkins University. Lastly, in April 2019, Joaquin attended the "Project Management Workshop" at PMI Switzerland and obtained certification for the same.
