Dhanuka Marasinghe

Dhanuka Marasinghe has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Software Engineer at Cut+Dry since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Mitra Innovation, starting in May 2022 and ending in January 2023. During their time at the University of Moratuwa, they served as the Department Representative in the final year and was a member of the Electronic Club. Dhanuka also held the position of Webmaster at the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society Student Branch Chapter. In terms of internships, Dhanuka worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Zebra Technologies from October 2020 to April 2021 and as an Engineering Intern at Sampath Bank from September 2016 to August 2017.

Dhanuka Marasinghe's education history begins in 2011 when they attended Ananda College, where they pursued a Physical Science stream until 2016. Dhanuka then moved on to the University of Moratuwa in 2017 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Dhanuka has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained certifications from WSO2, including the WSO2 Certified Enterprise Integrator Developer - V7 - Micro Integrator and WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer - V3. Dhanuka also received the WSO2 Certified API Manager Developer - V4 - Micro Integrator certification in the same year.

Before that, in 2020, Dhanuka completed the course "AI For Everyone" from Coursera and obtained a Problem Solving (Basic) Certificate from HackerRank. Dhanuka also completed various courses offered by Coursera on topics such as Convolutional Neural Networks in TensorFlow, DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Specialization, Natural Language Processing in TensorFlow, Natural Language Processing with Classification and Vector Spaces, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Programming Foundations with JavaScript, HTML and CSS, and Mathematics for Machine Learning: Linear Algebra.

It is evident that Dhanuka Marasinghe has a strong foundation in electronics, telecommunication engineering, and has also developed additional skills in machine learning and software development through their certifications and coursework.
