Dylan Thomas

Dylan Thomas is a CISSP with extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Dylan currently serves as the Director of Cybersecurity at Cutsforth Inc. starting from June 2022. Prior to this, Dylan worked at Eurofins from November 2018 to June 2022 as an Information Security Officer for the North America region. During their time there, they were responsible for developing and implementing information security initiatives.

Before Eurofins, Dylan worked at G2, Inc. as a Cybersecurity Engineer from October 2014 to November 2018. In this role, they assisted in the development and management of NIST's Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. Dylan also worked on the Presidential Commission on Enhancing National Cybersecurity, where they communicated with industry professionals to gather cybersecurity recommendations.

Prior to G2, Inc., Dylan worked at Altamira Technologies Corporation as a Cybersecurity Engineer from June 2013 to October 2014. Dylan was involved in business development activities and played a key role in establishing new company capabilities for commercial consulting. Dylan led a team in completing various cybersecurity projects, including web scraping and vulnerability assessments.

Dylan's work experience also includes a role as a Resident Assistant at Pennsylvania College of Technology from July 2012 to May 2014. In this position, they acted as a student leader and mentor and facilitated communication and interaction among students.

Dylan Thomas, CISSP, earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Pennsylvania College of Technology, completing their studies from 2012 to 2014. In March 2015, Dylan obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Additionally, in May 2014, they acquired the CNSS-4016: National Information Assurance Training Standard for Risk Analysis certification from the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and the NSTISSI-4011: National Training Standard for Information Systems Security Professionals certification from the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) and the National Security Agency (NSA). Before these certifications, in January 2011, Dylan obtained the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint from Certiport.
