Chuck McBride has a diverse and extensive work experience in the advertising industry. Chuck is the Founder and Executive Creative Director of Cutwater since April 2006. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Creative Director of North America at TBWA from 2000 to 2006, where they ran the adidas account and worked on pitching global and national accounts. Before that, they were a Creative Director at Wieden + Kennedy from 1998 to 2000, where they successfully relaunched the JDI campaign for a younger audience and won back the Nike account from competition. Chuck also worked as a Creative Director at Foote, Cone & Belding from 1997 to 1999. Earlier in their career, they served as a Senior Copywriter at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners from 1994 to 1997, a Copywriter at Wieden + Kennedy from 1993 to 1994, and a Copywriter at Team One from 1990 to 1993.
Chuck McBride attended the University of San Diego from 1981 to 1985, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Communication.
