Rubén Arce Castro has a long history of working in the food industry. Rubén began their career in 2015 as a Contract in Practice (Department of R&D) at Froneri (Nestlé and R&R JV). In 2016, they joined PLN Distribution S.A. as a Responsible for Quality and Product Development (Food) and a Technician for Quality and Product Development (Food). In 2018, they became the Director of Quality, R&D and Food Safety at ROYPAS (Pastor y Canals, S.A.). In 2020, they moved to Mission Foods as Quality & Sustainability Coordinator EMEA. Rubén is currently working as Quality Excellence Manager at Cuyna since 2022.
Rubén Arce Castro began their educational journey in 2007 when they attended Universidad de Cantabria and earned an Ingeniería Química degree with a field of study in Química Industrial. In 2011, they attended Universidad de Málaga and earned an Ingeniería Química degree with a field of study in Bioquímica industrial. In 2012, they returned to Universidad de Cantabria and earned an Ingeniero Técnico Industrial degree with a field of study in Química Industrial. In 2013, they attended Universidade Federal da Bahia and earned an Ingeniería Química degree with a field of study in Petróleo y Petroquímica e Ingeniería de la Producción. Finally, in 2014, they attended Universidad de Sevilla and earned a Máster Universitario degree with a field of study in Tecnología e Industria Alimentaria.
