René Laks

René Laks currently serves as the Country General Manager at CVE (Changing Visions of Energy) since November 2021 and has held various leadership roles in the energy sector, including Managing Director positions at Enie South Africa and Solarus Smart Energy Solutions. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Representative for Southern Africa at ECN and Managing Director at Groen Gas Nederland. René co-founded and managed the Dutch Natural and Biogas Vehicle Association "GroengasMobiel" and worked at Essent as Director of Project Development and Manager of Business Development. Prior roles at Argos Oil and Shell included management and project positions in global operations. René holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a Certificate of Achievement in Applied Physics and Public Policy from Harvard University.
